The crest of Thine splendor
Oh Lord of Colossal strength!
Has left the world’s vivid wonder
With neither bounds nor length.

The Blessings brought unto me
As an embodiment of Mercy and Love.
Is the greatest bestowed by Thee
For I treasure it above all trove.

Such fine a Creation
Is but a ponder to the soul.
Far beyond my elucidation
I have devoted myself as a whole.

Surely, none other, but Thee
Possess the miraculous Might
To Grant both sorrow and glee
And envisage the day and night.

Before Thou, I kneel
For now my senses do not spree
Yet again, I have begun to feel
The thrust of falsehood free!

The Mirage of Desire!

When I looked down the road
I saw a mirage, far from where I strode
Thirst had wasted my thought
I ran down, my mind being naught

I had assured myself of its purity
None, but that had convinced my sanity
Never was I ready to accept
Failure, hardly being my concept

I ran as far and fast as I could
Though I had a choice, I felt I should.
I dreamt of the wonders I would receive
Once I reached success, and would achieve

Now and then, I came upon obstacles
Hardly realising, they were my oracles.
Evading, I ran further still.
Comprehensions, my ego dared to kill

Then I did see a vague figure ahead
In a moment, my prudence was almost dead
Neither could I halt, nor could return
Verily, my insides cried out in mourn

Yet, I failed myself in agreement
Then, my target was not achievement.
Had I been able to endow it purity
I would accept triumph, with surety

But alas, again I incurred failure!
Not of deed, but of choice I was immature.
To forsake myself, why was I so keen?
I envisaged more than I had seen

Incredulity, then taking over me
I wondered how I had failed to see.
While rain poured softly and boundlessly
I chased a mirage that lured me deceivingly.

To the distant storm, I give not a mere ponder.
For dew pours on me from just yonder.
To quench my thirst, I’ve been taught
Even while I lay, amidst the world’s drought.

The Unpredicted Finale…

The voices deep down inside
Echoed through my mind’s void
Tolerance in me had died
Not anymore could I simply avoid

Patience had not a chance to fail
I kept myself together and moved ahead
For a year, we had accepted to be frail
Today, while we speak, you listen instead!

If you found triumph in mortification
Then surely we found it in resistance
Though by all means we had justification
Temptations never overcame prudence

But didn’t a moment of opposition
Drain the zeal of your violence?
Nay, we chose with discretion
For if desired, we could ruin your existence!

Thank and pray yet again to Lord
For an ending as such; blessed are your souls
Bereavement was surrounding your lot
But again consider, we had nothing to lose.

The Lord Willed and I came to be!
All Praise is due to Him, verily.
Pray, do accept the slave in me
For having blessed me with a family

I was once a delight to my family,
When I came anew, into this world.
My mother bore pain, patiently;
Caressed me with care & loving word

Father held me in his hand
With tears of joy and pride.
Kissed my eyes as he glanced
With a smile, when I first cried

My every word, my every smile
Was just as special, as the very first.
Ever forgiving when caught in guile
Never let me feel hunger or thirst

Do I have, even the right to forget?
They brought me up, till I am here today
Oh, how ruthless can I really get?
Have I known so much, to find fault in every way?

If I am not to serve my parents
How am I to be accepted by reason?
Unjust I am to my own existence
Lord, do save me from such deception!

Cursed is he who carelessly ignore,
Being a child to one’s parent.
By disobeying a word or chore
Save for those, which are not apparent

How I long to see that pride in your eye.
You’re preserved in me, than ever before.
I pray for forgiveness to the most High
For beyond Him there is no more!

The Veiled Truth..!

What great beauty you must have, oh!
Lady, you always make me wonder
That you hide away, without show
Leaving nothing, for imagination to wander

Doesn’t beauty lie in the eye, tell?
Nay! Not in the one who behold
But in the soul within; that dwell
Beneath the cloak, in peace, even in the merciless cold!

My body is not a mere tool
For the world to perceive and enjoy
My strength is not to make one stare and drool
Surely, unique is my definition of joy

Judge me not, you are not perfect either
My beauty is a blessing to my family!
Pure I am inside and by intention; neither
Of which you know by my colour and contour, honestly!

Faithful I am to my kin and spouse
For through day, I guard my chastity
I reveal nothing of myself, beyond my house
Except for kindness and charity!

I cover myself in prayer
In honour to God and modesty
If such is my faith in Him, my Saviour!
Should I not protect myself and my dignity?

If truly what you mean is equality
Then why do you seek my external feature?
While I possess worthy and unmatched ability
Am I not the backbone of a home; a living teacher?

I practice even the little that I preach
I keep silent, with firmness and patience
Often touching hearts, regions beyond your reach
And stand for my rights and fight with tolerance

Reducing yourself to mere play
To expose your shame, the men will always agree.
Then by which virtue are you better, say?
Perhaps, as desire’s toy; hardly by any worthy degree

My eyes are the window
Of my free and noble soul
For whether a maiden, spouse or widow
I bow down to the Hearer of His Creation’s call!

The strive for simplicity…

Peace, hardly ever was tasted
Its fragrance, ever remained faceted
To happiness, that never existed
For man is unaware of what is expected

That he was glad, in other’s bliss
Is but a question! My mind fought
For the simplicity that we miss
What was it then, that he sought?

Once and again, I question thee
Nay, I do not refuse, I too am weak!
But I do try, not yearning to be
A hindrance to the ceaseless Mercy’s seek!

My soul is free to choose for itself
For neither you nor I gave it life at first
My body is of seldom worth to myself
For I quench truth, before thirst!

If I am ever found on your way
Hear, I’m not one to stop you there
Turn or wait, lest one shoud make you a prey
Not forgetting, a warner came along, offering your share…

The Phenomenon!

Where was I, when my being was being wrought?
Were the sciences aware, when I was thus brought?
Then answer thee, a sole question of my entity
Was man but an err, of mere destiny?

Phenomena, is thy answer, to all unanswered ways
Yet, by what inspiration, did it beget and come into trace?
Thou have convinced the masses, the ignorant sway!
But verily not truth, for veracity never darkens day.

When reason does turn to question thee; seeking elucidation
An empty void brims the very ambiance, wailing in desperation
The unanswered mind weighs down the buoyancy of thy soul
Will thou then deny, thy faith, the untrue, turned deaf to thy call?

Have thee forgotten the covenant with thy Lord?
Verily, thou did stand witness, to the Unity of God
Humility is thy right, if thou did forget. When Judged
Thy soul will remember; thee will then blaze among the wretched!

Before the Day comes to pass, get hold of thy faith
Nay, belief is not merely conviction, so as to swathe
But the reason, the true purpose, the sole path;
Lone is not the conduit, but beware the One’s Wrath!

Time and again, the Lord speaks unto His creation
For Nature itself, in design, is a vibrant manifestation
Thou afford to explicate conception, but clearly beyond thought
Is the Creator Himself; the architect, your curiosity sought.

Truth is no conjecture, which can be taught unto thee
Nor a notion, for the survival of the best of humanity
For man differs in himself, by no worldly degree
But of faith, in word and deed, man varies in superiority

Were man brethren before the Divine Decree, say?
Thy heart is but a cave, concealed to light even by day!
Thou did blame nature, for differences in design
Yet, complain of monotony; have thou reflected on a single sign?

I speak unto thee, the language of justice and simplicity
That man fails to perceive, on his path to his decreed destiny
Silence is but a revelation, to the ones who hear
Behold, time never ticks, for every instant, the End is near.

A breeze of verdict…

The cold wind of sorrow
Had an unusual chill that night
Stabbing his dreams of tomorrow
It finally blinded him with fright

Futulity had known its extent
For he dug his own grave!
Yet without a moment of repent,
How could victory be his crave?

Nay, your blasphemy will not utter
A word for you in favour
For divinity, to you seemed bitter
Has satan come to be your saviour?

What reward has being a fiend
Brought forth, in your blazing fire?
Not even a scorching pain to befriend
Would you claim this to be your desire?

The zephyr of breezy truth
Blew in silent victory
To the devout, bringing soothe
While awaiting the Time as a heavenly reverie.

The Supreme Being…

A Supreme Being, is the faith of many
Then say, what is this Being akin?
Is there another like Him, any?
Or is He mere flesh, bone and skin?

Unto Him, is there any gender?
And do passions and temptations conquer?
Is this Being simply meek and tender?
Does He seek for Himself any succour?

Verily, of such being, nature denies divinity
For His Majesty is far beyond the mere created
As for one in pain, need and humility
Craves for the Lord, the Exalted!

How did man dare ascribe
The utterly impossible, to the One?
For as a creature, Him the ignorant describe!
He begets not daughters, nor son!

Not everything to Him is possible
For neither is He born nor dies
As to forsake, for Him is implausible
And to forget or speak lies!

Mountains and skies will crumble and thunder
And the trumpet blown, at time’s summit!
The deceived minds, shall break asunder
Then to the truth, they submit!

To make a choice, it will then be too late
Fate shall then determine your poise
Surely, your own resolve will lead you to the gate
To taste the reward of your choice!

The People of Conjecture!

Mercy calls from just yonder
But persistent is man, to wander
Enshrined are the qualms within
Fogged by the bellows of grave sin

What delusion does man covet?
How relentlessly do they forget!
Then how far will he pursue
Denying that which will ensue?

That Day, shall all truth pervade
The conjectures that men persuade
Every notion then shall turn ruthless
Seizing their souls, their lives so fruitless

No good of the world will be benefitting
To those who spoke vice, unbefitting
The Lord; choosing that which is expedient
Turning away from the veracity so radiant

They shall taste, the wrath of the Creator
Of the heavens and the earth, the Sustainer
To Whom belongs our life, death and sustenance
Won’t the ungrateful then turn in repentance?

Nay! They yet worship others besides Him
Enslaved they are to their own whim
Losers are those who turn away from right
Blind and deaf to truth, by day and by night!

Then so shall be their eternity
Dying among those with infirmity
Life will be endowed upon the ones subservient
To the One only Master, the Self-Sufficient!
